Ian Muffett vs Oscar Tait

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Georgia promoted show at Atlanta Eddie, Atlanta,  taking place on 08/11/2038:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-Georgia Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Muffett (7 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Augusta, USA and Oscar Tait(21(7) - 0) from Augusta, USA.  Muffett weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces, while Tait weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Billie, and the three ringside judges are Dai Gibson, Jacob Quigley and Bart Craigie.  

Round 1: 

Tait sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a sharp cross.  
Muffett is looking to keep the action on the outside and hits home with a cross.  
Tait lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tait advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Tait steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  Tait clinches his opponent.  Tait pushes his forearm into Muffett's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tait is looking to close the distance.  Muffett throws a right hook, but Tait holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Tait pushes his forearm into Muffett's face.  The ref breaks Tait's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Muffett tries to step out of his opponents range.  Tait lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Tait gets on the inside.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Muffett has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Tait attempts to land a left hook, but Muffett blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tait is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Tait lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Muffett quickly recovers. 
Tait sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Muffett's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Muffett's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Muffett switches the action to the outside.  Tait lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Tait throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tait gets on the inside.  Tait sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tait throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Muffett switches the action to the outside.  Tait connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Tait closes the distance.  Tait pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tait lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Tait clinches his opponent.  Tait leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.

Tait closes the distance and EXPLODES a HUGE right uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE MUFFETT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
The right shot from Tait could be enough to force the stoppage!  Tait lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS MUFFETT!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Tait connects with a WICKED right uppercut.  MUFFETT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Muffett has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Tait gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Tait lands a forceful left hook.  MUFFETT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Muffett quickly recovers. 
Tait walks his opponent into the corner.  Tait lands a right hook.
