Ricky Stephens vs Chris Rind

Boxing Daily Report from the Sijabala Promotions promoted show at Clint Ducat Gym, Montgomery,  taking place on 03/10/2038:

Clearly Sijabala Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Alabama Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricky Stephens (3(3) - 0) who hails from Montgomery, USA and Chris Rind(12 - 8(2) - 2) from Tuscaloosa, USA.  Stephens weighed in at 135 pounds, while Rind weighed in at 135 pounds and 12 ounces.    As Rind came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Rex Touch, and the three ringside judges are Ian Anderson, Owen Leckie and Stephen Glasford.  

Round 1: 

Stephens is on target with a jab.  
Rind switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Stephens blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Stephens tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Stephens lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  
Stephens gets on the inside and digs in a sharp right hook to Rind's body.  
Stephens steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Stephens cuts off the ring, trapping Rind on the ropes.  Stephens lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Stephens closes the distance and is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Stephens gets on the inside.  Stephens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Stephens lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Stephens is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Stephens lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Stephens ties up his opponent.  Stephens pushes his forearm into Rind's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  Rind almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Rind's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Rind's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Stephens lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Stephens lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stephens drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Stephens is looking to close the distance.  Stephens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Rind pivots from in front of his opponent.  Rind attempts to land a left hook, but Stephens parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Stephens closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stephens steps inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Stephens is on target with a stinging left hook.  As Stephens tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rind dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Stephens walks Rind into the corner.  Stephens is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stephens lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stephens lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Stephens pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Stephens gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.  Stephens ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Stephens pushes his forearm into Rind's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stephens walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Stephens lands a right hook.  
Stephens lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Stephens pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stephens lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Stephens steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Stephens sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Rind's liver.  
Stephens gets on the inside and connects with a firm right hook.  
Rind tries to land an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Stephens gets on the inside and is on target with a MASSIVE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE RIND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Stephens holds on to his opponent.  Stephens is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Rind quickly recovers. 
Stephens walks Rind onto the ropes.  Stephens connects with a right hook.  
Stephens connects with a right hook.  
Stephens quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND SENDS RIND TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Rind cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Stephens!
