Patrick Marshall vs Michael Finnin

Boxing Daily Report from the Ringside Promotions promoted show at Valley Parade, Bradford,  taking place on 18/07/2037:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the British Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Patrick Marshall (27(21) - 2(1) - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Aberdeen, UK and The Escape Plan Michael Finnin(55(30) - 5(5)) from Belfast, UK.  Both Marshall and Finnin weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adam Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Brin Mickel, Russell Gwilym and Rob Reece.  

Round 1:

Finnin gets on the inside and is on target with a solid left hook.  
Marshall is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Finnin almost instantly gets his legs back.

Marshall wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Finnin dabs at his face checking for damage.  Finnin has taken some damage there.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Finnin throws a left uppercut, but Marshall ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Finnin pushes his forearm into Marshall's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Finnin to stop fouling.  
Finnin throws a left uppercut, but Marshall clinches his opponent.  Finnin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
