Boxing Daily Report from the Costa Rica National Finals 2039,  taking place on 11/03/2039 from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The San Jose venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Quinto Enriques (3 - 4) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Ramirez Monte(7 - 14(1)) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  

Round 1: 

Monte lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Monte feints a jab, fooling Enriques into throwing a left hook counter.  Monte springs the trap and counters with  a sharp cross.  
Monte feints a right hook, and then lands an overhand left followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Monte drives a left hook into Enriques's body.  
Monte lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Monte attempts to land an overhand right, but Enriques dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Enriques closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Enriques steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Enriques lands a right hook.  Enriques tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.

Enriques steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Monte in the corner.  Enriques lands a left hook.  
Monte lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
