Shayan Younan vs Juan Vara

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/06/2038 from New Delhi, India:

The New Delhi venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Shayan Younan (16 - 2) who hails from New Delhi, India and Juan Vara(6 - 4) from La Paz, Bolivia.  

Round 1: 

Vara gets on the inside and connects with a right hook.  
Vara pivots to the side of his opponent, but Younan lands a sharp jab.  
Younan pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Younan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Younan closes the distance.  Younan pivots from in front of his opponent, but Vara connects with a left hook.

Younan is looking to close the distance and connects with a sharp right hook.

Vara closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Younan pivots to the side of his opponent and goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Vara time to recover.

Younan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Younan is looking to close the distance.  Vara attempts to land a left hook, but Younan blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Vara walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vara sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a solid cross.  
Younan drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Younan lands a cross.  
Younan closes the distance and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Younan forces Vara to retreat onto the ropes.  Younan pivots to the right of his opponent.  Vara throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.
