Rob Craib vs Bruce Tervo

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/03/2036 from New York City, USA:

The New York City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rob Craib (37 - 7) who hails from New York City, USA and Bruce Tervo(1 - 4) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Tervo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Craib lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tervo is on target with a right uppercut.  Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib pushes his forearm into Tervo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Craib lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Craib advances into close range.  Craib pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Craib pivots to the left of his opponent.  Craib lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Tervo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Craib's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Craib throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Tervo throws a right hook, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Craib about fouling.  
Craib forces Tervo to retreat onto the ropes.  Craib sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a solid right hook.  
Tervo sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Craib is on target with a solid cross.  
Tervo lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tervo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Craib connects with a left hook.  
Tervo throws a left uppercut, but Craib clinches his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Tervo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tervo steps inside and connects with a left hook.  
Tervo attempts to land a right hook, but Craib slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Craib is on target with a cross.  
Tervo drives a right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Craib pivots from in front of his opponent, but Tervo drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribcage.  
Craib steps inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Craib pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Tervo drives a right uppercut into Craib's ribcage.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tervo behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Craib to stop fouling.  
Craib steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Tervo accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Craib.  
Craib connects with a left hook.  Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Tervo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Tervo.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Craib's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Tervo steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch.

Tervo is on target with a left hook to Craib's body.  
Craib lands two jab's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Tervo advances into close range.  Tervo pivots from in front of his opponent.  Tervo throws a right uppercut, but Craib holds on to his opponent.  Craib leans on his opponent trying to wear him down.
